Second Year VC

Here are a BUNCH of projects from second year of Visual Communications at ACAD:


Typography Photograph: Line.
The purpose of this was to create your own font in relation to the word that was given.

Culture/Card Project, 2008. Gouache on Illustration Board.
Culture: Ancient China (Qing Dynasty)

Paper Squirrel, 2008. ANW Paper.


Skeletal Initials, 2008. Ink on Illustration Board.

Mask/Texture Project, 2009. Graphite on Illustration Board.
Textures include: feathers, tin, rubber, wood, paper, leather.
(It can be turned upside down.. it works both ways)

Environment/Perspective Project. Graphite on Illustration Board.
Objective: to create an imaginary environment and to bring it to life with lighting/shading.


Create your own type, Century Gothic. Ink on Illustration Board.
Objective: to create 5 new letters in a chosen typeface and to incorporate them into that specific typeface.




15 figures: Camping. Ink on Illustration Board.
Objective: to fit 12-20 figures on a 4"x20" format. To show foreground/background and relations between the figures.


Day In The Life: Environment. Day in the life of Mr. Kinsella. Acrylic on Masonite.
