Patterns

It has been an extremely long time since my last post. I've been ridiculously lazy with this blog, and I've been busily working on my website (which is still missing content and is planning to be completely filled by the beginning of April). But while I'm on the blog, I might as well add in some new work! 


The images below are the final pattern project as well as all of the alternative/experimental versions. This theme is about the concept of digging through winter to find those summer/autumn gem like memories. This project was more of a personal one to me - the park is one that I have been going to since I was little and the memories caught in the leaf shapes are some of my favorite/most memorable times at the park. Enjoy!

Remembering Lies: Editorial

Here are two alternative illustrations for an article called "Remembering Lies". The article is about a woman who claims that her psychiatrist implanted false memories under hypnosis and medicated psychiatry. She said that these memories worsened and eventually developed into multiple personalities. 

I experimented with this project and created each of these images by combining and layering different paintings.

Typography Photograph: Line.

The purpose of this was to create your own font in relation to the word that was given.

Objective: to create 5 new letters in a chosen typeface and to incorporate them into that specific typeface.
